Solomon Islands Prime Minister Gordon D'Arcy Lilo took advantage of his visit to Rio de Janeiro for the Rio+20 conference to visit Flamengo's headquarters in Gávea. A soccer fan and Brazil's Most Beloved, the director strolled through the club's grounds and, captivated by the view of Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, made a point of stopping at the soccer field to take photos.

Accompanied by Flamengo directors, the Prime Minister also visited the Cláudio Coutinho gymnasium, the Olympic Gymnastics club, and the official Fla Concept store, as well as the headquarters' rooftop.

The Solomon Islands delegation included 15 people, including the Prime Minister's wife, Mrs. Bronwyn Lilo, as well as federal agents and army police.
