Children's Day brings joy to families in Gávea
The event for the little red-blacks was marked by lots of games

Flamengo prepared a Children's Day party worthy of the little red-and-blacks, this Wednesday (12.10), at the Uruba and Urubinha children's space. Families attending the event were able to participate in raffles for prizes such as bicycles and balls, games, lots of fun with the group Entreter and enjoy a buffet provided by Wickbold.
President Patricia Amorim took the opportunity to highlight Flamengo's achievements this year and emphasized the improvements the club has undergone and is undergoing.
"First, I'd like to thank all the members present and the staff who helped with this event. We've been striving to make the club a place for the red-and-black family to come together and spend quality time together. We've worked hard to achieve this and will continue to do so," the president stated.
"This year has been marked by many achievements. If we win the sixth regatta, and we will, we will be undefeated state champions on land and sea, something that hasn't happened in a long time. We are very confident in our artistic gymnastics team, which is competing in the World Championships and has a great chance of winning a medal. We have 31 athletes participating in the Pan American Games. Flamengo continues to be the best club in Brazil, and I can only thank my team, who trusts in my work, and you. Today is Children's Day, your celebration," he concluded.
The party, organized by Fla-Gávea vice-president Cacau Cotta, brought together around 500 girls and boys from 9am to 15pm, and also featured a ball pit, trampoline and a festive cake especially for the little red-black fans.
