Eduardo Bandeira de Mello, president of Flamengo, opened the meeting, in the Rogério Steinberg auditorium, for around 200 people.
"Today is a day of celebration and there will be no shortage of things to do for you. I'm going to Ninho do Urubu to support our players for tomorrow's Fla-Flu game and I'll be back soon to celebrate with you," he said.
Vice-president Walter D'Agostino praised the board's work in restoring the prestige of Mais Querido.
"We want new people (at the club), but we also want new mindsets. Today's celebration is to let us know that Flamengo is eternal. After all, we know that those who are born good, are born Flamengo," declared the director, drawing laughter from the ambassadors present.
The Anjo da Guarda Rubro-Negro campaign, through which all Flamengo fans will be able to allocate part of their income tax due to one of the Mais Querido's incentivized projects, was highly highlighted by the Vice President of Olympic Sports, Alexandre Póvoa.
"We have four approved projects for Olympic sports. 197 of the club's athletes have already competed in the Olympic Games, and we currently have around 1300 athletes in this category. A fifth project is still being approved for contributions to the youth soccer training center. This is the first time we have a quick and easy online tool open to everyone. The Nation has always said yes when Flamengo needed it, and this time will be no different," said Alexandre Póvoa.

Marketing director Fred Luz presented topics for discussion between the embassies and Flamengo, so that they can become arms of the institution and the fans' passion can be translated into benefits for the club. With the support of Flamengo, the embassies would gain greater legitimacy.
"The strength of Flamengo's fans is an enormous resource that still lacks due attention," he declared.
The conversation yielded a series of suggestions from ambassadors. Vinícius Nagem, from the first Flamengo embassy, Fla-Paraná, emphasized that there can't be a single model for all embassies, as in some states, Flamengo fans are harassed, such as in São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul, and Paraná itself, where there are strong regional fan bases.
Crispiniano Cerqueira, ambassador for Galera do Fla from Ilhéus, is an example of what embassies can become for their cities. He gained a thousand members in one year and gained coverage in the local press with social programs such as blood drives, sports court renovations, and street trash collection drives.
The emotional high point in the auditorium was the statement by Francisco Zoroastro, ambassador for Fla-Singapura, who ended up singing the club's anthem. In 2011, Francisco secured an invitation for the Red-Blacks to compete in the Lion City Cup with their under-15 soccer team. The Mais Querido's undefeated championship was broadcast to five Asian countries, Italy, and England.
"We arrived at the airport and sang at the top of our lungs 'Win, win, win...'," the anthem began, sung loudly by everyone present in the auditorium.
Rodrigo Sabóia, embassy coordinator, and Daniel Silva, historical heritage manager, who organized the event, concluded the conversation that opened the celebration with the delivery of kits provided by Fla Boutique, to each of the embassies, with a personalized shirt that will be given to the idol honored by each embassy.
