Father's Day is celebrated in style

President honored employees with breakfast in the Gávea Noble Hall

By - in

Monday began with a celebration at the Flamengo Regatta Club headquarters. Around 400 employees, collaborators, and contractors were honored for Father's Day and attended the Main Hall, where President Patricia Amorim hosted a wonderful breakfast.

With the same warmth and attention as always, the club's president welcomed everyone and presented each employee with an official Olympikus jacket. At the end, there were also raffles for licensed merchandise. Patricia Amorim also thanked the club's employees for their hard work.

\

"These celebrations are very important because it's a time when we can look each other in the eye to congratulate and at the same time demand. Don't think I'm being nice. I'll demand and say no when I have to, and I expect this partnership from you too. I'm with you, salaries are up to date, and we're working to do the best for the club. I count on everyone's feedback and commitment because Flamengo is a huge challenge, and without the staff, I can't do it alone."

\

Some employees made a point of personally thanking the president for her kindness, such as José Cardoso de Santana, who has worked at Flamengo for 35 years without ever missing a visit.

\

"For everyone's benefit, it was the first event in the club's history. Not only an extra stimulus, but an initiative to make everyone aware of their responsibility and commitment as employees and also as fans," said Cardoso, a rowing employee (35 years and 98 days at Flamengo).
