Father's Day is celebrated in Gávea

Flamengo employees are welcomed with a special breakfast

Around 300 employees of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo were honored for Father's Day, celebrated last Sunday (14.08). A hearty breakfast, with a raffle of official gifts, was offered by president Patricia Amorim and vice-president of Fla-Gávea, Luis Claudio Cacau Cotta, in the Rubro-Negro's Noble Hall, in Gávea.

With the same care and attention as always, the red-and-black leader welcomed everyone and, with the support of the Plataforma restaurant, Fla-Boutique, Olympikus and licensed partners, made the employees feel even more valued.

"It's a great joy for me. Being here today and being able to provide this care to employees is a reward. We are partners, we are together," said Patricia Amorim.

For some, it's a moment they'll remember forever. This is the case with José Cardoso, from the rowing department.

"She is unique. The most present and generous president we have had in all these years."

The last employee to be drawn with a personalized Flamengo cell phone, Sergio Silva, from the Olympic sports department, couldn't hide his joy at the gift he received from Patricia Amorim.

"I really needed a new phone. Look at the state of mine, it's so ugly! It's going to go in the trash right now. I'm just going to use my Mengão phone," he exclaimed, continuing. "This kind of event didn't exist before, in previous administrations. The president makes a point of remembering her employees. In all the years I've been here, I've never seen such consideration from a president," said Silva, who has served the Mais Querido for 32 years.
