After a break due to the World Cup, the Soma division of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo continues its scientific meeting schedule. A pioneer in the advancement of sports medicine in Brazil, the Flamengo medical team, led by Professor Carlos Alexandre Souto de Assis, who is also a member of the Brazilian synchronized swimming and diving teams, will give a lecture on ideal training protocols for prepubescent soccer players.
