"It's always a great pleasure to be here at Estácio, which sponsors Flamengo's basketball team. This isn't my first time here. I've been here before. I'm very happy with the tribute. It's great to talk to you and receive this feedback," said the president, who spoke for a little over an hour with the packed auditorium.
During the conversation, the president of Flamengo spoke about his career and trajectory at BNDES and answered questions from students on various topics, from club management to the difficulties of managing Flamengo's football.

"When you're dealing with football, you have to give a voice to those who work with it, who understand it. Our mission there is to give a voice for Flamengo. I'm sure this is the way forward. Flamengo has 40 million fans, you have pressure from all sides. And you have a guideline you have to follow. Always avoiding succumbing to pressure as much as possible," explained Bandeira.
