To protect fans' right to attend the match against Atlético-MG, Flamengo and Brasília authorities launched an operation to prevent ticket scalpers. The partnership began when the ticketing and intelligence team, responsible for ticket sales at the club's games, identified ticket purchases made with the same credit card but with different CPFs, a strategy used by scalpers. The operation was carried out on three fronts: the club helped the police identify and arrest the criminals, analyzed illegally purchased tickets (using false identities to purchase tickets), and offered those who had done business with scalpers the opportunity to purchase their tickets legally.  

By Friday, the first day of the operation, police had already arrested six ticket scalpers and seized documents, tickets, and the criminals' profits. The incident was reported to the 5th Police Station. Later that day, the department responsible for digital sales identified which tickets might be in the hands of scalpers and blocked those that had not yet been exchanged. All tickets that had already been collected were identified and blocked. 

On Sunday (August 4.08), the day of the match, a section of the club welcomed fans who tried to enter with tickets purchased from scalpers and offered them the opportunity to buy the ticket legally. There was no problem; everyone admitted the mistake and made the purchase, without paying a convenience fee. 

For upcoming matches, Flamengo will improve its operations and online anti-fraud system. The upcoming matches in Brasília will also feature the security department's internal affairs department. Tickets for Flamengo vs. Portuguesa are now on sale, starting at R$60 (for fan club members).
