Meeting further strengthens ties between the Netherlands and Flamengo
At breakfast, Patricia Amorim received gifts to thank the red-black hospitality

The Dutch delegation, which faced Brazil last Saturday (04.06), in a friendly match in Goiânia, returned to Rio de Janeiro this Monday (06.06) and returned to Flamengo. Dutch directors and players met with the red-black board and thanked them again for the warm welcome, in addition to the fruitful stay at the club's stronghold.
The meeting began with breakfast, where President Patricia Amorim was honored. She received a framed shirt from the Dutch, signed by all members of the delegation, along with other gifts.
"We want to thank you for the immense kindness shown in welcoming us to your club. It was a very productive week due to the game against Brazil. It was an honor to play against a team that once had Pelé, Garrincha... In recognition of the time we spent here, I would like to thank you on behalf of all the members of the coaching staff and players," said Benk Korthals, the head of the Dutch delegation.
Then, president Patricia Amorim took the floor and also thanked those present and the Dutch for their presence at the red-black house.
"Flamengo is grateful for being chosen to host the training sessions of such a great team. We hope we met your expectations and that you enjoyed it. Thank you very much."
After breakfast, Flamengo's board and the Dutch officials went to the Gávea pitch, where the players were training for the last time before facing Uruguay this Wednesday. And there, too, the atmosphere was festive.
The photo taken last week, in which the entire Dutch delegation posed, Flamengo's football director Luiz Augusto Veloso, Flamengo's football department employees and Flamengo's youth academy players, was distributed to the Dutch players, autographed by everyone in the squad.
