On Monday morning (02.12), at the Rogério Steinberg Auditorium, at the Gávea headquarters, a meeting took place to discuss Fla's Digital Media. Club professionals and independent producers of online content about Flamengo participated in a chat about the future of digital communication media related to the Club.

A proposal was presented for Flamengo-dedicated websites to gain space on the Club's Official Website, as a way to improve the online reach of opinion leaders about the club. The premise behind this initiative is that the websites and pages of Flamengo fans engaged in reporting on Flamengo could be better utilized to inform about the Club's sports activities and its campaigns and projects. This partnership would yield a mutual benefit: for the institution, which would gain "branches" in the digital environment, and for the collaborators, who would gain visibility.

 

In addition to social media efforts, the Flamengo Guardian Angel campaign also gained prominence. Anyone who wants to join and become a Flamengo Angel has less than a month to do so, deducting 6% of their income tax. Publicizing the campaign could gain a significant ally in the event's guests. The Vice President of Olympic Sports, Alexandre Póvoa, was present and recalled the importance of the Rubro-Negro Guardian Angel.

"Flamengo is perhaps the only major football club in the world that also features 10 Olympic sports, seven of which have a strong chance of fielding representatives at the 2016 Olympic Games. We currently have four approved projects for fans, whether individuals or legal entities, to help through incentive laws. It's very simple: the fan doesn't take anything out of their own pocket to help; they just change the fate of the taxes they would have paid anyway. Instead of giving to the government, they give to Flamengo," said the VP.
