With 2010 votes, or 43,57% of the votes, visitors to Flamengo's official website chose one of Adriano, the Emperor's, 19 goals as the most beautiful of the sixth-title campaign. The chosen goal was Flamengo's second in a 3-0 victory over Coritiba on September 20, when Adriano subtly chipped the ball over the Coxa goalkeeper.
Petkovic, with his Olympic goal against Galo at Mineirão (11/08/09), came in second, receiving 1.190 (25,79% of the choices).
The other three options up for vote were: Emerson's goal against Botafogo on 07/19/09, with 149 votes; Adriano's goal that opened the scoring against Sport on 09/12/09, with 368 votes; and Petkovic's goal against Palmeiras on 10/18/2009, with 896 votes.
