The debut of the 81 traveling exhibition is a success
Rubro-negros from Joinville and the region celebrated the World Cup and Libertadores trophies, as well as top scorer Nunes

The first day of the traveling exhibition honoring the 30th anniversary of the Interclub World Cup victory, held by the Flamengo Museum in partnership with the Embassy of the Flamengo Nation in Joinville, Santa Catarina, was a resounding success. Fans from the Santa Catarina city and other municipalities in the region attended the event and were able to see up close a bit of the club's glorious history, including the trophies from the World Cup, the Libertadores Cup, and the 1980 Brazilian Championship, as well as take photos and get autographs from Nunes, the top scorer in the finals.
Following the exhibition's success closely, the director of the Flamengo Museum, Mauro Chaves, was amazed by the fans' admiration for the red-and-black history.
"We had people from many cities in the region, such as São Francisco do Sul, São Bento, and Jaragúa do Sul. The latter city even came with a delegation and presented us with a document requesting that Fla-Jaraguá become an embassy. I confess I was astonished by the presence of so many people, all wearing the sacred mantle. The fans were amazed by everything, truly immersed in Flamengo's history. They also showed their admiration for the trophies," said Mauro Chaves, emphasizing that without the support of the local embassy, the exhibition would not have happened.
"I couldn't help but thank you for all the effort and the warm welcome we received. Congratulations to Fla-Joinville," he added.
Present at the event, Nunes, accustomed for so many years to the harassment of fans, was very moved by the affection in the city of Santa Catarina.
"I don't think I've ever signed so many autographs in one day as I did today. I'm very proud to have been a part of it all and very happy to know that, after all this time, I'm still very much loved by the fans," thanked 'João Danado'.
Constant presence
Flamengo president Patricia Amorim, from Rio de Janeiro, was present throughout the day to monitor the progress of the first traveling exhibition. In direct contact with Flamengo Museum director Mauro Chaves, she was delighted with the results.
"The president kept in touch with us throughout the event. She was present and very happy with the exhibition's success, as well as being very grateful for the work of Fla-Joinville," concluded Mauro Chaves.

This Friday (15.04), the traveling exhibition of the 81 World Cup will be in the city of Brusque, also in Santa Catarina. The event will take place at the Fla-Brusque headquarters, from 17 pm to 22 pm, and will also be attended by Nunes.
