On Tuesday night (27), the Fla Memória expansion project was approved, a proposal submitted to the vote of Flamengo's Deliberative Council. With the decision of the councilors, the company ISV/Mude now has the approval to go to the market to seek financial resources for the expansion of the red-black exhibition in Gávea.

"I'm very happy, we've taken a huge step towards a dream of all Flamengo fans, which is to have our own museum. I'm sure it will be a success and a point of attraction for Flamengo and the city of Rio de Janeiro," celebrated president Eduardo Bandeira de Mello.

On the same occasion, the football uniforms for the 2019 season and the sponsorship contract with CAIXA were also approved.

After visiting museums in Brazil and abroad and speaking with other companies in the field, ISV/Mude (International Sports Ventures/Museos Deportivos) was chosen by the club, not only for its extensive experience with institutions such as CONMEBOL, Juventus, Benfica, River Plate, and Boca Juniors, but mainly for its working model: the partner will seek funding in the market, while Flamengo will be responsible for curating and managing the collection. This aspect was crucial for the Historical Heritage Department, which will work collaboratively with the company and respect the club's identity and culture. The project will be entirely funded by external investments and will not impose any financial burden on the club.
 
The FlaMemória expansion project envisions a space of approximately 2 m², up from the current 300 m², which will house more than 15 themed areas with interactive features and multimedia content to appeal to all ages. The project's crowning glory, which would ensure the attraction's freshness and charm, is a multipurpose room with approximately 250 seats to host a cultural program featuring lectures, film screenings, documentaries, publication launches, and all kinds of social, cultural, and educational content for the development and expansion of the red-and-black tradition.
