Flamengo fans from Vitória, Espírito Santo, and the surrounding region will be able to see the trophies of their greatest achievements up close. This Saturday, from 2 pm to 8 pm, Flamengo will hold a traveling exhibition of the 1981 World Cup at the Saldanha da Gama club, located in Fort São João. The exhibition, organized by the Flamengo Museum, will also feature trophies from that year's Libertadores Cup, the 2011 Guanabara Cup, Rio de Janeiro State Cup, and the 2011 State Cup.
To further delight fans, Nunes, the top scorer in the finals, will be on hand. He will represent the stars of the era, and fans will be able to take photos and get autographs from "João Danado," as he was known.
The nation will be welcomed by the Acadêmicos do Samba group on a float. Inside the club, a DJ will liven up the atmosphere, obviously with songs that celebrate the love for Brazil's most beloved band.
From Vitória, the exhibition will travel to the interior of the state. This Sunday (12), it will be in Castelo and, on Monday (13), in Guaçuí. Flamengo's traveling exhibition began in Joinville (SC), on April 15, and will pass through more than 20 Brazilian cities with material related to the most victorious period in the club's history.
