Celso was one of the great men of Brazilian sports radio. He discovered Zico and built a stellar career as the "Scoreboard Boy" in sports commentary.

The body will be laid out in the Santa Rita de Cássia Chapel, room 2 of the Inhaúma Cemetery, Rio de Janeiro, and the burial is scheduled for 17:00 pm today.
