With over 300 people in attendance, Mengão's Feijoada was the event that attracted the most people since the monthly event launched in January. The Feijoada took place last Sunday, March 15th, at the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo Rowing Stadium in Lagoa.

The afternoon's main attractions were samba artist Tunico Ferreira, son of Martinho da Vila, and Bateria do Salgueiro, the 2009 Rio Carnival champions. The event, held from noon to 18 p.m., also featured samba artist João Martins and the Karta Markada group, a resident of the Mangueira feijoada festival. The organizers raffled off prizes and an official jersey autographed by the team.

The fourth edition is scheduled for the end of April.
