Fla opens its doors to the Swimming Festival
More than 800 children and their families packed the red-black water park this Saturday

Flamengo opened its doors for the Novos Talentos Social Project's Swimming Festival, supported by the club, which includes more than 800 children from public schools surrounding the club's headquarters. The Flamengo water park was packed with families of the swimmers, who were able to witness, in addition to swimming, a water polo performance.
President Patricia Amorim, who has supported the project since its inception in 2003, was present and spoke of the importance of providing opportunities for children and adolescents. After all, more than 30 athletes have already been promoted to Flamengo's youth teams after demonstrating potential in Novos Talentos.
"It's very important that we give these children and teenagers the opportunity to play sports. Not only to become high-performance athletes, but, above all, to develop citizens," said Patricia Amorim.
