After winning the Taça Guanabara last Sunday, Clube de Regatas do Flamengo woke up to a new sign installed in the area of the former Posto Mengão gas station, next to its headquarters in Gávea.
Created by designer Luiz Stein, the artwork with the words "Rio in the right color" stylizes Sugarloaf Mountain and Guanabara Bay in red and black.
In addition to celebrating its 19th Taça Guanabara title, the club is also honoring the Marvelous City, which turns 446 years old this Tuesday, March 1st, and is a candidate, along with UNESCO, for the title of World Heritage Site in the Cultural Landscape category.
