Fla will kick off the celebrations for the centenary of football
Papo de Rubro-Negro will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the club's first official match

Flamengo will celebrate a centennial of glory this Thursday (May 03.05rd) at 19 p.m. at the Flaconcept store, located at the club's headquarters in Gávea. The "Papo de Rubro-Negro" event will be held again, this time with the theme of the centennial of football, the nation's great passion. After all, 100 years ago, the Manto Sagrado took the field for the first time, against Mangueira, and since then has built a history full of achievements.
At the event, Flamengo will announce the centennial celebrations to be held throughout 2012. Additionally, it will launch the traveling exhibition "The Legendary Flamengo," which will tour several Brazilian cities, chronicling the club's greatest victories over the past 100 years. A commemorative Flamengo centennial jersey will also be released and will be available for purchase to attendees.
The Papo Rubro-Negro will feature stars from the past, the current squad, and the club's youth teams. It's worth noting that the event is sponsored by the Flamengo Museum and supported by Olympikus.
