In the Copa do Brasil seven-a-side football final, Flamengo became the two-time champion by defeating América Mineiro this Sunday (June 10.06). Flamengo showed that not only did they have a great squad but they were also emotionally fit. They drew 1-1 in regulation time and took the title on penalties.

In addition to the competition trophy, Flamengo took home four individual awards: José Moraes as best coach, Guilherme as best goalkeeper and standout player of the competition, Rogério Correa as one of the best defenders, and Wesley as one of the best attackers.
