The strikers were on target, and the first quarterfinal match between Fluminente and Flamengo of the Otávio Pinto Guimarães Tournament (OPG) ended in a 1-1 draw on Wednesday. The match took place in Xerém.
Striker Kayke scored for the visitors three minutes into the first half, and Alan equalized for Tricolor nine minutes into the first half. The red-and-black striker found his way back into the net after a poor spell at Brasiliense.
"I'm happy to be back at Flamengo, especially scoring goals. I hope to finish this OPG well so I can have a run in the professional ranks next year," says Kayke, who started the last two games and left his mark in both.
The return game is scheduled for next Saturday, at 16 pm, in Gávea.
