Fla broke records in the 2007 Brazilian Championship

In addition to having the highest average attendance last year (39.221 people per game), Flamengo broke record after record with each game it played at home.

This year, Flamengo has been present in eight of the ten best-attended matches in the Brazilian Championship. So far, the derby against Vasco has had the largest attendance (63.611 paying fans).

The largest attendance of the 2007 Brasileirão was achieved in the penultimate round, when 87.895 paying spectators watched Flamengo's 2-0 victory over Atlético-PR. This result qualified the Rio de Janeiro club for this year's Copa Libertadores.
