Flamengo fans will have another way to express their love for the red and black. The club will be represented by a team in Formula Truck, the most famous motor racing category in South America, starting with the first stage, which will be held this Sunday (February 27.02th) in Santa Cruz do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, at 13 pm (Brasilia time). The Fla Truck team, which will carry the number 12, the number of the Nation, will have Leandro Reis and José Maria Reis as drivers.

The contract signed with the club's Marketing Department establishes Flamengo's participation in the sponsorships raised with the truck and a minimum profit of R$ 500. There is also a provision for the development, in a separate agreement, of licensing products from the automotive market under the Fla Truck brand.

"It's a new source of revenue for Flamengo. In addition to showcasing its brand and gaining increasing visibility, the club also sees great potential to generate even more revenue through the creation and sale of licensed products related to the area," stated marketing director Harrison Batista.

The second round of the Formula Truck series will be held in Rio de Janeiro on April 3rd at the Nelson Piquet International Autodrome in Jacarepaguá. It will be Flamengo's first home race, and there is a possibility of some team-building activities taking place there.
