The Rio de Janeiro Fire Department was present at Flamengo's social headquarters in Gávea on the morning of this Friday (October 22.10). With the approach of summer, the firefighters visited the club with a noble mission, which aligns perfectly with the thinking of the Flamengo board: to guarantee the well-being of the members who use the facilities, and of all residents in the surrounding area, with a vector control operation to eliminate any type of breeding ground for the dengue mosquito.

Under the command of Captain Fabiana, about 20 men carried out a final sweep of Flamengo, which they recognized as a strategic point in the region.

"This work is being carried out throughout Rio de Janeiro. We, from the Fire Department, are visiting strategic points with this preventative work. Especially now, with the approach of the period of highest incidence of dengue cases," stated the captain.
