Flamengo beats Fluminense and is the champion of the Fut 7 World Cup
Petkovic finished the competition as top scorer and the red-black Roni was elected the best player of the Mundialito

Flamengo is the new champion of the 7-a-side football world. This Sunday (14.07), in Rio de Janeiro, the Mais Querido, even without Petkovic, beat Fluminense in the final by free kicks by 3 to 2, after a 0 to 0 draw in regulation time. This was the first time that the Rubro-Negro won the Club World Cup title. In the first edition of the competition, held in 2012, Fla finished in second place.
"I'm lucky! Lucky with this team is easy, not difficult. A team that fights, that is a warrior, that plays with will and determination. It's not easy to win a Fla-Flu with Coração Valente, with Washington leading. But the kids deserve congratulations, we were better in the shootout and took the title," said Petkovic.

"I kept shouting from the bench because I wanted to come on and help the team, but any sudden movement I made caused pain, and then I knew I couldn't play. But I wanted to play and score goals," said the World Cup's top scorer.
Besides Pet, another standout was Roni. The forward was named the best player of the Mundialito and is among the seven players chosen for the championship's team of the tournament. Rubro-Negro players Mikimba and Rogerio Correa, as well as coach José Moraes, were also selected.
