The Flamengo Regatta Club, in partnership with the State Employees' Hospital, launched the "Fan Donor" Campaign this Monday, the 26th.

The action, which runs throughout the week, aims to raise awareness among fans about the importance of voluntary blood donation.

Flamengo and its fans entered into the partnership to ensure the success of the campaign and benefit the greatest number of HSE patients.

Fans who donate blood will receive a gift from the Club, as well as being entered into a draw for a number 12 shirt (official fan shirt) at the end of the day and a few more at the end of the campaign.

During the Flamengo and Internacional game last Saturday, 10 leaflets with information about the donation were distributed.

The Hospital dos Servidores, one of the Ministry of Health's leading units for highly complex procedures, performs major surgeries in various specialties, including vascular, cardiac, and orthopedic. To ensure the blood supply required for the surgery program, which performs approximately 20 procedures annually, ongoing awareness campaigns and donation incentives are required.

The HSE Blood Bank, open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., is a collection unit with the autonomy to serve 600 donors per month. After the collection, a snack is offered to replenish calories and ensure the donor's hydration.
