Flamengo releases new official statement about problems with athlete Bruno
After unanimous deliberation by a committee of legal experts, the club decided to suspend the employment contract

According to the unanimous decision of the Commission established for the case, made up of notable jurists: Mário Pucheu, lawyer, Theophilo Miguel, federal judge, judges Marcus Faver, Siro Darlan and Walter D'Agostino, in addition to labor judges Marcelo Antero and José da Fonseca Martins Júnior, Clube de Regatas do Flamengo – which has no connection with the incident – hereby announces the suspension of the employment contract of athlete Bruno Souza, until the facts are fully investigated.
At the same time, it is also clarified that Dr. Michel Assef Filho does not represent the club's interests in this matter.
