Next Wednesday, Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, in partnership with the Civil Defense and the Rio de Janeiro City Department of Education, will host the event "Building Citizenship in Schools" at its Gávea headquarters. The event, which begins at 9 a.m., will also feature one of the club's greatest heroes, Zico, who will speak to the children about his experiences in sports.

Approximately 120 children from the Bolivar, Nerval de Gouveia, and João Mangabeira municipal schools will be at the Mais Querido headquarters, where they will attend lectures on the environment, sustainable development, and citizenship, as well as hear about the importance of Civil Defense's work in society. The interactive discussion will highlight the dangers of trash on hillsides, illegal construction, and other important daily practices.

Comlurb also embraced the idea and will present a presentation by the Chegando de Surpresa Group, which will also demonstrate in a playful way, through music, all the care that must be taken with garbage.
