The book "Meu maior prazer" (My Greatest Pleasure), the first book in the debut collection of the "Paixão entre Linhas" (Passion Between Lines) imprint from Editora Leitura, will be released next Tuesday, the 24th, at the Saraiva bookstore in the Rio Sul shopping mall in Botafogo. The work, with almost 296 pages, brings 32 accounts of red-and-black personalities, in interviews conducted and organized by journalists Luciano Ribeiro and Carlos Eduardo Mansur.

In the work, the reporters present interviews with red-blacks from different areas: from the scholar to the young actor, Thiago Rodrigues; from the comedian Cláudio Manoel to the rapper Marcelo D2, from the novelist Manoel Carlos to the radio host Apolinho.

The book also features conversations with athletes and coaches such as Zagallo, Leandro, Bebeto, Petkovic, Evaristo de Macedo, Carlinhos, Juan, Joel Santana, Fábio Luciano, Bruno, Léo Moura, Ibson, Raul Plassmann, Júnior, Nunes, Renato Gaúcho, Ronaldo Angelim and the current coach Andrade.

Among the curious revelations is that of striker Adriano. The Emperor says that in Europe he would sometimes stay up until four in the morning to watch Flamengo games. Another interesting fact is the testimony of Zico, who claims to have loved the Red-Blacks since birth.

Carlos Eduardo Mansur is a sports reporter for the newspaper O Globo. He has worked for Lance! and for Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, where he served as press officer for the Football Department. Luciano Cordeiro works for GloboEsporte.com and has worked in the sports section of Jornal do Brasil.

The event begins at 19 p.m. The authors will be at Saraiva bookstore to sign copies and chat with fans. The suggested retail price is R$29,00. The pocket-sized edition of "O Time do Meu Coração" (The Team of My Heart), organized by the same authors, will also be released at the same time. The pocket-sized book summarizes Flamengo's history, priced at R$12,90. It includes information such as all the titles, decade-by-decade history, great idols, top scorers, and unforgettable matches.
