Flamengo is in the quarterfinals of the Brazilian Beach Soccer Cup
With a 100% success rate, Rubro-Negro now faces Guanabara (RJ)

Flamengo qualified for the quarter-finals of the Brazilian Beach Soccer Cup by defeating União Central (RJ) 6-1 today (16.02). With the result, Rubro-Negro moved to first place in group A and continues with a 100% success rate.
In the first matches of the competition, the team from Gávea beat Avaí (SC) 3-2 and Juventus (RJ) 4-3. Flamengo will be looking for a place in the semifinals tomorrow (February 17.02th) against Guanabara (RJ) at 12:45 pm at the Gávea Arena. If they beat tomorrow's opponent, they will automatically qualify.
The 2012 Brazilian Beach Soccer Cup, which is being hosted at Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, is an initiative of President Patricia Amorim in conjunction with the Vice-President of Fla-Gávea, Cacau Cotta, and has the support of the President of the Fiscal Council, Leonardo Ribeiro.
