Flamengo is one of two Brazilian representatives in the first edition of the Club World Cup, which is being held in Rio de Janeiro, at the Sapucaí Arena, until next Sunday. After debuting with a victory in the tournament, against Argentinos Juniors by 4 to 2, the red-black team defeated Peñarol, by 5 to 1, this Friday (03.08), qualifying for the semifinals.   

 

Rubro-negro will play the semi-final of the competition against Lazio, this Saturday (04.08), at 20:45 pm.

 

The Mundial Society is divided into two groups. The team from Gávea is in Group B along with Argentinos Juniors and Peñarol. Group A consists of Botafogo, Lazio, and the Sidekicks.
