O Flamengo Regatta Club in partnership with Purple and Sick – a chain of stores specializing in football articles – opens its first store FlaShop, a new concept for club stores in Brazil. The private event, open to invited guests, will take place on December 15th at 18:00 pm and will be attended by players, celebrities, and club officials. The official website for the store chain will be launched simultaneously: www.flashop.com.br. The name FlaShop was chosen by the club's fans. More than 20 online users from around the world participated in the "Flamengo Until I Die!" Cultural Contest. The physical store covers an area of 125 square meters and is located at Rua da Quitanda, 87, in downtown Rio de Janeiro, and will open the following day to the club's fans.

The press conference will take place at 17:00 pm - one hour before the opening event - and will be attended by Márcio Braga, president of Flamengo, Ricardo Hinrichsen, marketing director of Flamengo, Eduardo Rosemberg, managing partner of Roxos e Doentes and Marcelo Cherto, managing partner of Grupo Cherto who will speak about the expansion and franchise project of the FlaShop brand throughout the country.

According to Ricardo Hinrichsen, Flamengo's marketing director, "this first store can be seen as the first step towards meeting a huge pent-up demand from our fans across the country, not only for exclusive products and services, but also for a more rewarding brand experience with their favorite club."

For Eduardo Rosemberg, managing partner of the Roxos e Doentes network, "the project aims to establish direct contact between fans and the club and will feature several services, including personalized names on game shirts, pre-sales, exclusive launches, and ticket sales," he says.

PROJECT

More than 18 Flamengo stores are expected to open, including kiosks, malls, and street-level stores. FlaShop features approximately 350 club items, including jerseys, tracksuits, official flags, and various licensed products like caps, mugs, scarves, keychains, towels, and a mascot.

OWN LINE

Fans will find an exclusive Flamengo line. The new products will be developed by Roxos e Doentes' creative department in partnership with the club's marketing department. Some of these products will be manufactured by Roxos e Doentes and the rest by Flamengo's licensed companies.

FRANCHISE

The Cherto group—responsible for developing the franchise project—will select partners for the upcoming stores. They will co-manage the stores and kiosks implemented in partnership with R&D Franchising. All selected partners will receive the franchise's operational manuals and training from R&D Franchising to understand the operating standards of a FlaShop store.
