With players Petkovic and Toró in attendance, Flamengo launched the Cidadão Rubro-Negro project on Monday, August 10th. The initiative is a major networking program aimed at integrating and interacting with the club's millions of passionate fans. Leveraging the internet, the program offers fans a package of exclusive benefits and prizes, accessible only to Cidadão Rubro-Negros.
To this end, Flamengo has created an interactive environment where its fans can meet, exchange experiences, share opinions, and express their love for the club. By creating their profile, Flamengo fans can talk about their passion for Flamengo, who their idols are, the games that have left their greatest memories, and much more. This is in addition to the themed communities, which are free spaces for a wide range of topics related to our Mengão!
With this social network, Flamengo will unite not only its fans in one place, but also their life stories, passions, opinions, and preferences in an environment tailored to the citizens of this great nation. "This program is a long-held dream. Flamengo's greatest asset is its fans. And this program will allow us to understand who our fans are, what they want, and their consumption habits. For our partners and sponsors, this is information that has great added value," says Flamengo's executive marketing director, Ricardo Hinrichsen.
The project will be launched in two phases. The first involves a campaign featuring Flamengo: Emperor for a Day, featuring star player Adriano, the club's number 10. Fans register and enter this contest, which will ultimately award trips to Rio de Janeiro, including staying at the same hotel as the professional team, having lunch with the team, watching the Flamengo-Sports game alongside a legendary Flamengo player, going to the locker room at the end of the match, and participating in the press conference. The winners will also have dinner with striker Adriano.
The second phase of the program, starting September 7th, launches the relationship and benefits network with all the interactive options, access to products, prizes, and other promotions. Users will receive a login and password and must choose one of the three available categories to complete their registration. From this moment, points will begin accumulating so that the Red-Black Citizen can enjoy its benefits. All this will be done through the project website (www.cidadaorubronegro.com.br).
In addition to getting even closer to Flamengo, the Red-Black Citizen will have exclusive access to a package of advantages and benefits for special club actions, available in a catalog with more than 200 thousand products and services spread across Brazil.
The program will also offer special access to official products and exclusive launches from the project, in addition to unique promotions that will bring fans closer to the club's life and history.
Starting in September, the program will offer three different categories to serve participants. In the Bronze Category, participants don't have to pay anything. By simply registering and continuing to access the program, they accumulate points to exchange for official products or participate in exclusive promotions. In the Silver Category, with a monthly payment of just R$8,00, the Red-Black Citizen accumulates points faster, in addition to other exclusive benefits.
In the Gold Category, with 12 installments of R$33,00, the program offers even more points and additional benefits. The points, for example, allow you to exchange them for an official program shirt—a piece manufactured by Olympikus that will not be available for sale on the market.
The program will feature two rewards catalogs. One is called FlaVermelhos, which offers exchanges for intangible prizes, such as watching a game alongside a past idol. FlaPretos offers a catalog featuring dozens of e-commerce chains, such as Americanas.com, the Extra supermarket chain, and Grupo Folha, among many others. In this case, the Red-Black Citizen can exchange their points for products like home appliances and newspaper subscriptions, for example.
