A shirt for fans, a casual line for the nation to show their love for Flamengo at all times, and a book to immortalize the club's greatest achievements. Monday morning (September 19.09) was a busy one in Gávea. Olympikus, the club's sports equipment supplier, presented the new products, which were immediately well-received by those in attendance at the event, held at the FlaConcept store.

Admiring the quality and beauty of Flamengo's third shirt and new casual line, the club's president emphasized the need for fans to honor official products.

"I always say that this Flamengo/Olympikus relationship is fundamental for the club. Olympikus makes us proud to have them on our uniform, as they understood, from the beginning of the partnership, the greatness of our club. I hope the nation enjoys the launches and continues to support them by purchasing official products," said Patricia Amorim.

Representing Olympikus, the company's marketing director, Túlio Formíncula, praised Flamengo's fans and congratulated all the red-and-blacks who made and continue to make the club a giant.

"When we talk about Flamengo, we talk about the nation, the packed stadium, the goals, but also the people. Flamengo is part of the lives of many people who, sometimes, we forget in our daily lives. The club is only huge because of these people. And we do everything to always help the club, to innovate and please the fans," he said.

Book Always Flamengo
In addition to the shirts, the book "Sempre Flamengo" was released this Monday. A collector's item, the publication, in addition to being available in print, can also be downloaded by fans here, on the club's Official Website. Click here!

Happy to provide another product for its biggest partner, Olympikus' marketing director explained the company's reason for launching the book.

"This book sums up what I said before. Flamengo only exists because there were people who made it great throughout its history. It's a simple tribute that we at Olympikus pay to the club. The central theme of the publication is the '81 World Cup, recalling the importance of coach Cláudio Coutinho in forming that winning team. We also talk about the 2009 title, which was our first with the club, and many others. The book contains highlights and important data, and we hope to reach as many fans as possible. After all, Flamengo is a country the size of Argentina," said Túlio Formíncula.
