Flamengo launched this Tuesday afternoon (26/03), in a press conference held in Gávea, the Red-Black Nation, a fan membership project that seeks to attract passionate fans to help build a stronger Flamengo. Attending the launch were President Eduardo Bandeira de Mello, Vice President of Marketing Luiz Eduardo Baptista, Marketing Director Fred Luz, the club's greatest idol Zico, and Ambev's Director of Consumer Connections, Marcel Marcondes.

"We are extremely proud to present our club's membership program. We are introducing a program that will help Flamengo get out of the hole and reach new heights," said Bandeira de Mello. To regain its place as the biggest club in the world, Flamengo needs revenue, and this is where Flamengo's fans come in. With this project, each of the 40 million members will be able to contribute and be part of this rebuilding of the Most Beloved, which aims to pay off debts, restructure, and bring more titles to Gávea.

"Today marks 84 days since we took over the club and it is a great honor to have launched this project in such a short space of time. Red-Black Nation "It will be one of the main channels for connecting with fans. It's an opportunity for Flamengo fans to be the protagonists of their own joy. There's a desire to make Flamengo ever stronger, and this will only be possible if we have the resources. Flamengo is the one who needs it. Fans will benefit, and the biggest one is to help the club grow," said Luiz Eduardo Baptista.

There are currently six plans. In addition to participating in Flamengo's growth, fan members will enjoy priority access, benefits, and discounts on ticket purchases for all of the team's games. Each member will also have automatic access to the Movimento Por Um Futebol Melhor (Movement for Better Football), which offers discounts on products and services. These include companies that are part of Flamengo's daily lives, such as Danone, Ambev, Burger King, Seara, Unilever, Netshoes, Sky, Bradesco, and Pepsico. More companies are already in talks to expand the benefits. In total, discounts are available on over 300 products and services.

"We're looking for resources, but we haven't forgotten about our fans. All six plans offer preferential rates and discounts on tickets. However, we're not just focused on the Flamengo fans of Rio. Across Brazil, Flamengo members can get discounts on products and services from the Movement for Better Football. We'll have promotions and even free tickets. Those who already have half-price tickets will continue to get discounts. In other words, it's cumulative," explained marketing director Fred Luz, before adding:

"Our goal is to end the year as the largest fan membership program in Brazil. We're aiming for 200 subscribers by the end of December," he said.

For Flamengo's biggest idol, membership is everyone's chance to help the club.

"It's always been a pleasure to help Flamengo, and I'm happy to see the work being done. The fans know they need to help. They've always asked to contribute, and the time has come. The board has put the fans in front of the goal, now they need to kick," Galinho said. This is the chance for the world's biggest fan base to make a difference.
