The first official franchised store of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, managed by Roxos and Doentes, will open next Thursday, October 29th, at 10:17 pm. The official FlaShop kiosk is located at Shopping Nova América in Rio's North Zone. The opening event will be open to the public and will feature Adílio and Julio Cesar, also known as "Uri Geller." The stars of the club's first Brazilian Championship title in 30, will be available for an autograph session with fans. Other attractions include appearances by the official mascots, Uruba and Urubinha, and musicians from Charanga do Flamengo.

Entrepreneurs Marcelo and Fábio Plaisant are leading the business. "It's a childhood dream come true. We're passionate about Flamengo. We spent six months researching the market. We wanted to invest in an official store to also help the club. We hope it's a success and we can open others in the city," says Marcelo Plaisant, 35, an entrepreneur with other businesses in the surfwear segment. According to him, the investment in Rio's North Zone follows market logic. "It's a high-income area that isn't yet served by an official initiative, as there's a FlaShop downtown and, soon, a megastore will open in the South Zone, at the club's headquarters. And the mall offers the public a comfortable and safe environment, essential for fans to shop with peace of mind," he adds.

With the opening, Flamengo fans will have the opportunity to purchase the entire official Flamengo line. The space covers 12 m² and features over 350 official and licensed club products, including official jerseys, mascots, towels, keychains, retro jerseys, and baby products. According to Leila Monteiro, Flamengo's Licensing Manager, the new kiosk's biggest beneficiaries are the fans. "They will have access to a mix of quality official products and, with these purchases, generate revenue for the club."

The Roxos e Doentes group continues to select partners for the next units.
