Flamengo took a bit of the history of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Interclub World Cup title won by the red-black team to the Casa da Moeda, in downtown Rio de Janeiro, this Friday (01.09). Visitors and employees were able to see up close the trophies from the 80 Brazilian Championship, the Libertadores and the 81 World Cup, as well as panels that illustrate the achievements of the Esquadrão do Ouro. The club's president, Patrícia Amorim, and athletes from the current generation of rowers inaugurated the exhibition that will be on display until Saturday morning (02.09).

Upon arriving at Praça Cinelândia, where the exhibition was located, the red-and-black delegation was received with great joy by the Casa da Moeda employees and visitors present, moving the president.
 
 "It's an honor for Flamengo to bring the exhibition to the Mint and receive all this sincere affection from you. All of Flamengo's success comes from the affection of this nation; it's a club that was definitely born to win," said Patrícia.

"We've worked hard and with great pleasure to bring this joy to you. I'd like to thank the Mint and Fla-Moeda for their hospitality and camaraderie. None of this would be possible without this support. The welcome we received here will never be forgotten. Thank you very much," concluded the president, who took a guided tour of the factory before the inauguration and learned about the entire process of creating the banknotes.
 
Alan Silva, president of Fla-Moeda, highlighted the joy that the exhibition brought to the celebration of the organized fan group's five-year existence.
 
"We completed five years of supporting the team on June 6th, and there was no better celebration than the one we had today. It was a reward and an unforgettable day for the entire Fla-Moeda nation," he said.
 
At the end of the visit, Patrícia was presented with a medal commemorating the mint's 300th anniversary.
