Flamengo is participating in the 1st World Football Congress in Istanbul, organized by English universities and the European Union, with the support of FIFA, UEFA and the Association of European Professional Football Leagues.

Guest of honor at the event, President Marcio Braga, was unable to attend due to commitments in England related to Flamengo's entry into the Superliga Formula. The club's excellent performance in the race resulted in significant international exposure and sparked interest from several sponsors, who made a point of speaking personally with the President, who therefore stayed in England an extra day.

Pedro Trengrouse, participated in a panel with Mustafa Sarigui, Mayor of Istanbul, Bobby Barnes and Morton Gulbradsen, respectively CEO of the England players' union and director of the Norwegian players' union.

The Flamengo lawyer spoke about the social responsibility of sports organizations, the topic of his FIFA Master's dissertation.
