By Media Relations - inFlamengo will adopt the "Espaço Urubu-Rei" at the Rio de Janeiro Zoo. The official adoption ceremony will take place this Friday, starting at 10 a.m., and will be attended by president Patricia Amorim and midfielder Renato Abreu, who has celebrated his goals several times with a vulture mask. In addition to them, mascots Uruba and Urubinha, the Flamengo Charanga, and children from Flamengo's preschools will also be present. Flamengo will adopt the four animals that live in this aviary.
\The initiative came from president Patricia Amorim, who learned of the bird's need for a godfather and felt it would be a perfect fit for the club, whose mascot is a vulture. Amorim mobilized a group of vice presidents and directors to raise R$500 per month for the animal's care.
