A milestone. This is how the launch of TVFLA was described this Tuesday (08.05), the day it was made official by Flamengo, in a press conference held in Gávea. The project, which includes a TV program, to be broadcast every Tuesday at 20 pm, on the Esporte Interativo channel (premiering on the 15th), and the broadcasting of exclusive content on official website and official YouTube channel The club's offering is groundbreaking. Never before in the history of Brazil's Most Beloved have fans had access to this type of media for free and across multiple channels.
Aware that she had taken another step towards bringing the Nation, spread throughout Brazil and also present abroad, closer to Flamengo, President Patricia Amorim was thrilled with the positive outcome of the project.
"This initiative is essential to fulfilling our need to connect with our fans. We need to fuel this passion regularly, and with TVFLA we'll have the chance to multiply that. We'll have the opportunity to showcase the greatness of Flamengo, which has its flagship in football, but is also a club with many other top athletes. It's no use just investing as we do. We have to showcase our work to our fans, who are our greatest asset," said Patricia Amorim.
To better explain the project's purpose, Flamengo's Vice President of Marketing dismissed any similarity with previous attempts that were unsuccessful.
"Unlike previous experiences at Flamengo, we will have a free weekly program, in addition to exclusive content being broadcast on our website and social media. Previously, fans paid for access to similar content and could only see it online. Now, we've created a new channel for connecting with our fans. TVFLA will play a key role in reaching out to the four corners of Brazil," explained Henrique Brandão.
Flamengo's partner in the initiative, Esporte Interativo, was represented by its president, Edgar Diniz, who revealed his passion for the sacred mantle and very high expectations for the project.
"Esporte Interativo was created by three die-hard Flamengo fans who wanted to create a channel to talk about sports. It's a great honor to be part of this project, which will feed these 40 million fans, spread across Brazil, with exclusive content, geared just for them," concluded Edgar Diniz.
It is worth remembering that the Esporte Interativo channel is open throughout Brazil through UHF channels, satellite dishes and is also broadcast on OI TV (116), Claro TV (48), GVT (50), Telefonica (466) and platforms such as the internet, tablets, cell phones and connected TVs.
