The tenth edition of the Football Medicine Forum, organized by the SOMA Division, a branch of the club's medical department, will be held on October 26th at the Gávea headquarters. The event will discuss topics such as muscle injuries and doping in football, and will feature leading figures in the field, such as Doctors José Luiz Runco and Serafim Borges.
"Our club is the only one in Brazil that holds an annual meeting aimed at discussing and updating the fields of Medicine, Orthopedics, Training, Nutrition, and other areas involved in professional football. Those who come will benefit greatly from the event, especially because we will award a certificate that carries a lot of weight," said Sônia Jesus, coordinator of the SOMA Division.
The event will take place from 8:12 a.m. to 30:21 p.m. in the Rogério Steinberg Auditorium. Registration is available by phone: just call (2159) 0255-80 and ask for Sônia or Valéria. The fee is R$40, but students only need to pay R$XNUMX.
