Flamengo fans are close to celebrating their 100th goal of the year. And, with the end of the Brazilian Championship approaching, the importance of each goal grows even more. Until Wednesday's match against Barueri, the team had scored 98 goals in 59 games (an average of 1,66 per game).

The top scorer in 2009 is Adriano, who only made his debut at the end of May. The Emperor has 16 goals (all in the Brazilian Championship) in 24 games. Right behind him is Josiel. The striker, currently with Jaguares in Mexico, scored 13 times in 25 games and left Gávea in June.
