Mr. President:

As President of the Deliberative Council of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo and in my own name, I hereby pledge to Your Excellency our protests of indignation, repulsion and solidarity with the brutal acts carried out by the police of the State of Pernambuco during the game held yesterday (01.06.08).

Acts like these do not ennoble Brazilian football and demonstrate the care that all clubs must take to ensure that episodes of this nature do not happen again.
