Flamengo continues to seek help for rain victims

Rubro-negro will receive donations for the Serrana Region of Rio in the game against Volta Redonda

In addition to continuing with its headquarters in Gávea, as donation collection point for victims of the rain in the mountainous region Rio, Flamengo will also try to help those most in need this Wednesday (19.01), in the match against Volta Redonda, at Engenhão. Counting on the mobilization of the red-black Nation, the club will open two points for donations, at the East and West entrances of the stadium.

According to authorities providing aid to rain victims in the mountainous region, the main needs are: mineral water, non-perishable food, powdered milk, mattresses, bedding, bath linens, blankets, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene products, and disposable diapers. Clothing and household appliances can also be donated.

Star Ronaldinho Gaúcho will be present at the stadium and made a point of asking for help from the red-black Nation.

"I wish the stadium was full and the people who showed up could help those who suffered from the tragedy. It would be wonderful," said Ronaldinho, followed by Flamengo president Patricia Amorim.

"We will prove that the Nation can also make a difference on the social side," he concluded.
