Flamengo was crowned state champion of Beach Soccer after drawing with Vasco 4-4, at Praia do Leme, this Sunday (05.08). The red-black team finished the competition with 12 points, one more than their rival Cruzmaltino, and lifted the trophy.

Luiz Fillip (2), Toinho and Greg scored Flamengo's goals in the decisive match. The winning squad was made up of: Willian (goalkeeper), Paulinho (goalkeeper), Greg, Toinho, Pedro, Melito, Luiz Fillip, Leonardo, Pitti, Matheus, Diego, Bejinha, Jadson, Luan, Pedro Arthur and Derek. The team was led by Nelson Carvalho (coach), Bruno Germano (fitness coach), and Julio Cesar (goalkeeper coach).
