On the day of Flamengo's 117th anniversary celebration, many commemorative events took place at the club's headquarters in Gávea. However, one of them was for a title. At the Arena Maestro Junior, the men's and women's beach soccer teams of Flamengo performed beautifully.
The men's team beat Spartak Moscow (Russia) 4-2, with goals from Rodrigo Gama (2) and Bruno Xavier (2). The women's team beat UFL Soccer (USA) 6-0, with goals from Gisiane, Dani Barbosa, Viviane, Andressa and Daise (2).
