Despite the very important achievements of the last 9 months - such as the Copa do Brasil, the Taça Guanabara and the Campeonato Carioca - we see that the time has come to implement a new stage, already previously foreseen in the work plan prepared by Flamengo's Board of Directors.

With this, Flamengo agreed to terminate the contracts of some of its main collaborators who formed the professional football technical team.

To the great professionals Paulo Pelaipe, Jayme de Almeida and their respective teams, whose work brought so much joy to the Red-Black Nation, we extend our deepest gratitude for the serious, correct and dedicated manner in which they have always treated Flamengo.

With these measures in place, Flamengo's Board of Directors looks to the future of Flamengo football, deepening efforts to professionalize the pedagogical and administrative processes of the club's entire football department, from the youth teams to the professional squad. We firmly believe that only in this way will we be able to build Flamengo to the level that the great Flamengo Nation deserves.
