Flamengo hosted Tigres do Brasil this Saturday morning in Gávea, for the tenth round of the Campeonato Carioca and ended in a 3-3 draw. The two clubs share the lead in the competition with 23 points, but Rubro-Negro has the advantage due to having a better goal difference.
Playing at home, Flamengo pushed hard from the start and took the lead with a goal from Dieguinho. Tigres equalized in the first half, sending the teams level at halftime.
In the second half, Flamengo took a 3-1 lead with two goals from striker Diego Maurício. Tigres pulled one back in the 29th minute. Flamengo complained about a penalty not being awarded in their favor in the 37th.
In stoppage time, Tigres equalized with a penalty kick, a move that was also heavily questioned by the players, coaching staff and red-black fans.
