With so many improvements being made at Flamengo, the latest one ensures modernity and comfort for athletes. For the first time, the Togo Renan Soares gymnasium, home to volleyball and futsal competitions, is being renovated. The court will feature floating parquet flooring based on international standards for the sports, as well as structural improvements throughout, such as roof repairs and renovations to the locker rooms.

According to Vice President of Administration, Cacau Cotta, this years-long demand is yet another promise fulfilled by President Patricia Amorim, who promises to encourage new athletes.

"This gym is where most professional players come from, so investing is crucial to achieving results. Furthermore, we intend to return to the traditional Red and Black Ball at the new venue," he said.

The gym has a capacity of 1.000 people and is scheduled to open in August.

The initiative was conceived by President Patricia Amorim and executed by Vice President of Administration and Fla-Gávea Cacau Cotta.
