Ibson organizes charity event. Fans who haven't yet tired of seeing Ibson in action will have another opportunity on December 26th. The Flamengo player, alongside teammate Diego, is organizing a charity soccer match at the Cinco de Julho Stadium in Niterói. And a distinguished guest is expected to be present: Zico.
The greatest idol in the history of the Red-Black team declared last weekend that he still dreams of being a player. However, he envisions exchanging passes with Obina. The striker, enjoying a vacation in Bahia, won't be at the festive game. But several other Red-Black players could make Zico's dream come true.
The event, called Happy New Year, will bring together several VIP guests, such as players Leo Moura, Souza, Jean, Luiz Alberto, Bruno, Felipe (ex-Fla, Vasco and Flu), Henrique (ex-Fla) and former athletes Roberto Dinamite and Leonardo.
The entrance fee will be two kilograms of non-perishable food. All proceeds will be donated to charity. Even before the ball kicked off, the Flamengo fans' soccer game had already collected 30 tons of food.
- This is the second year we've held this match, and our goal is to collect as much food as possible to help more and more families - explains Ibson.
Goalkeeper Diego sees the event as a way to give back to the displays of affection the players receive from people during the season.
"This is our way of trying to repay the affection we've received throughout the year. We're sure it will be a beautiful party and will help a lot of people," he says.
